STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval of contract with Daifuku, Elite Line Services
(ELS) for the maintenance services for the passenger loading bridges and baggage handling
systems for $20,511.43. (RFP AP 27-15) (District: 2)
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On May 19, 2015 the Board approved the request presented
for approval of the bid by Daifuku, Elite Line Services (ELS) for the maintenance services for
the passenger loading bridges and baggage handling systems. Staff has prepared the contract and
requests approval of the contract and authorization for the Chairman to sign the document. The
contract term is for one (1) year with two (2) additional one (1) year term renewals.
OPTIONS: Approve/Deny the contract with Daifuku, Elite Line Services (ELS) for the
maintenance services for the passenger loading bridges and baggage handling systems for
$20,511.43 and authorize the Chairman to sign the document.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the contract with Daifuku, Elite Line
Services (ELS) for the Maintenance Services for the passenger loading bridges and baggage
handling systems for $20,511.43 and authorization for the Chairman to sign the document.
