RESOLUTION 14- A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA; APPROVING SUPPLEMENTAL JOINT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT NUMBER THREE TO CONTRACT NO AR742 FOR THE PURPOSE OF AMENDING THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION TO INCLUDE INTERIOR AND PERIMETER WILDLIFE AND SECURITY FENCING AND WILDLIFE CONTROL MEASURES AT BOB SIKES AIRPORT AND DESTIN EXECUTIVE AIRPORT AND DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF A NOISE BARRIER WALL AND NOISE CONTROL MEASURES AT DESTIN EXECUTIVE AIRPORT. WHEREAS, on November 5™ 2013, the State of Florida, Department of Transportation and Okaloosa County entered into a joint participation agreement, that was designated as Contract No. AR742 (the “Original JPA”); and WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Transportation has been granted the authority to enter into Supplemental Joint Participation Agreement Number Three with Okaloosa County which would supplement the Original JPA and would provide funding to undertake certain projects as more particularly set forth inthe Supplemental Joint Participation Agreement Number Three (the "SJPA-3"), which is attached to this Resolution; and WHEREAS, the County agrees to provide the matching funds as set forth in the SJIPA-3 and to abide by the mutual covenants, promises and representations contained therein. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa County as follows: 1. The Board of County Commissioners hereby approves the attached SJPA-3. 2. The Chairman is authorized to execute the SJPA-3 on behalf of the Board and such other documents as are necessary to effectuate the approval. DULY ADOPTED THIS = DAY OF APRIL , 2015. Otherwise approved. JPA with FDOT - It is approved but I have revised the Resolution approving the Supplemental JPA. Please use that resolution. Otherwise it is fine.
