Background: This change order adjusts the original contract quantities to agree with the final installed quantities for the project. The effect is a net savings of $1,600.00 to the Owner for the seam welding on both tanks that was not necessary during the repair phase of the project. This change order has no effect on the contract time as the project was substantially complete within the original contract time. The five year warranty period will begin with the approval date of this change order and approval of final payment to the Contractor.
