BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: February 3, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Jason Autrey SUBJECT: Partridge Hills Warranty Period DEPARTMENT: Public Works BCC DISTRICT: 1 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The developer has requested approval by the Board of County Commissioners for the Partridge Hills subdivision to enter into the 18-month warranty period as required before acceptance into the County’s permanent maintenance system. BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS: Plans for the Partridge Hills subdivision project were approved for construction on June 6, 2006. The project has been constructed, inspected, and found to be in substantial conformance with the approved plans. Infrastructure dedicated to the Public includes rights-of-way, roads, signage, stormwater management areas and associated easements. OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove the developer's request. RECOMMENDATIONS: Approve acceptance of the work performed within the Partridge Hills subdivision to enter into the 18-month warranty period and accept Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit No.15-005-SP in the amount of One Hundred Six Thousand Dollars ($106,000.00) issued by Trustmark National Bank.
