BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On October 3, 2013 the County entered into a contract with Vulcan Materials Company to provide limerock, limestone, and asphalt milling materials. This contract will expire on September 30, 2015, however, the contract has an option for an additional one (1) year renewal. Public Works and Vulcan Materials Company desire to exercise the renewal option extending the contract to September 30, 2016. This is the final renewal on this contract. OPTIONS: Approve/Deny the renewal with Vulcan Materials Company for limerock, limestone & asphalt milling materials and authorize the Chairman to sign the contract/lease renewal form. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the renewal with Vulcan Materials Company for limerock, limestone & asphalt milling materials and authorize the Chairman to sign the contract/lease renewal form. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
