STATEMENT OF ISSUE: [PS] Request approval of addendum to the Kronos Workforce
Telestaff v4 Software Support contract (C14-2121-PS) adding Telestaff Enterprise v2 Software
Support.
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: Okaloosa Emergency Medical Services (EMS) currently
utilizes the Kronos Workforce Telestaff v4 timekeeping system for employee timekeeping and
payroll management. The software support contract that stipulates fees for continued service of
this system was approved in May 2014 and annual fees are paid according to the County’s
contract payment process. EMS also uses the Kronos Telestaff Enterprise v2 software for
operational staffing and employee scheduling. This addendum to the existing contract combines
support services for Workforce Telestaff v4 and Telestaff Enterprise v2, under one software
support services contract which can be paid from one invoice through the contract payment
process. The total amount for both support services will be $7,181.49. The addendum has been
reviewed and approved through the coordination process and is included in the budget.
OPTIONS: Approve/Deny the Kronos Workforce Telestaff v4 and Telestaff Enterprise
Software Support contract addendum and authorize the Chairman to sign the document.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Recommend approval of the addendum to the Kronos Workforce
Telestaff v4 Software Support contract adding Telestaff Enterprise v2 Software Support and
authorize the Chairman to sign the document.
