The School Board of Seminole County provides statistical and random sampling services which allows
our school district to be eligible to file for Medicaid Administrative Claiming Reimbursement. The
Okaloosa County School Board renewed it's agreement with Seminole County for random moment
sampling services on June 8, 2015, for fiscal year 2015-2016, at a cost of $2,691.70. On July 1, 2015,
Seminole County Public Schools was awarded funding to manage the Electronic Medicaid Administrative
Claiming System (EMACS) Data Management for the State of Florida. As a result of receiving this
project award, Seminole County Public Schools will not be charging individual districts for
administrative claiming services. Therefore, this change will require a revision to the currently
approved agreement and a corresponding approval by the School Board of Okaloosa County.
