(RFB 89-15) BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: Bids were requested by Facility Maintenance to contract with a vendor to supply preventive maintenance on chilled water units. Purchasing has facilitated the procurement and bids were received from three (3) vendors. Staff has reviewed the bids and recommend award to Comfort Systems as the lowest responsive bid for a total 24 month bid amount of $37,720. The proposed contract will be brought back before the Board for approval. OPTIONS: Approve/Deny award of the bid to Comfort Systems for the preventive maintenance of chilled water units for a total 24 month bid amount of $37,720. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the award to Comfort Systems for the preventive maintenance of chilled water units for a total 24 month bid amount of $37,720.
