SUBJECT: Seeking Board Approval to Remove Forms
DEPARTMENT: Purchasing
BCC DISTRICT: ALL
STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Seeking Board approval to remove forms included in the
Purchasing Manual to allow for clerical revisions.
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: The Purchasing Manual, as approved by the Board, included
forms which facilitate procurement processes. Because the forms were approved by the Board as
a part of the Purchasing Manual they may not be revised without subsequent Board approval.
Purchasing staff requests Board approval to remove these forms from the Purchasing Manual.
Removal of these forms will allow Purchasing staff to make clerical revisions to the forms as
needed. Revisions to the forms that will require changes to the Purchasing Manual will be
brought for Board review/approval. Forms will continue to be provided on-line with revision
dates.
OPTIONS: Approve or disapprove to remove forms from the Purchasing Manual and revise the
Purchasing Manual Table of Contents (attached).
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends removal of forms from the Purchasing Manual and
revision to the Purchasing Manual Table of Contents.
