BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: December 1, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Tracy Stage SUBJECT: Amendment No. 3 to Qwest Air Parts' Lease Agreement DEPARTMENT: Airport BCC DISTRICT: 1 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Department of Airports requests the Board of County Commissioners approve Qwest Air Parts' Amendment No. 3 to Lease No. L10-0360-AP at the Bob Sikes Airport (CEW). BACKGROUND: On January 5, 2010, the Board approved Qwest Air Parts' lease agreement for aircraft salvage and related services at the Bob Sikes Airport (CEW). October 6, 2015, the Board approved Amendment No. 2 to Qwest Air Part's lease for an additional 57,096 square feet of apron space. Amendment No. 3 revises Section 22, Termination, to that Lessee shall have the option to terminate the aircraft apron space as outlined in Amendment Number Two at any time with at least ninety (90) days written notice to County. OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table. RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve Qwest Air Parts' Amendment No. 3 as written.
