Subject: RE: Eglin MOU - contract coordination
Good Morning Charles:
This one is a little unique in that although an MQOU, the language within specifically states that it is not a contract and
that there is no contract established between the parties. As such, contract review for legal sufficiency is technically not
needed. Regardless, to ensure that this is not held up, there are no legal issues with this MOU, and it is sufficient.
- Have a good day,
Kerry

Hi Erika: In the past, we held agreements under the Community Partnership Program for signature until the quarterly
Executive Committee meetings. This provides good “photo ops” and fodder for news stories as the top three leaders
between the County, Eglin and Hurlburt Field are on hand to sign the documents in a formal ceremony. The next CPP
Executive Committee meeting is 24 Aug at 1330.

Hey Jeff!
Is there any way you could send me an email to the effect of the below information? That way the final signatures can
be at the CPP event, since | know you mentioned the publicity was important.
Let me know if you have any questions!

This is a publicity thing. They want to sign it at the next CPP meeting and take a picture of it. It’s not the same photo op if
the BOCC still has to sign it.
