Harper & Brothers published this illustrated edition of “The Raven” in New York in 1884. Gustave Doré supplied the illustrations, Edmund C. Stedman the accompanying comment, and Elihu Vedder the title design. The volume brings Poe’s poem together with a later visual interpretation.
