STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval to remove two members of the review committee
for RFP TDD 36-16 Tourism Website Hosting & Maintenance Service: VisitFlorida digital
strategy executive and Northwest Florida State College/University of West Florida website
expert.
BACKGROUND: On February 2, 2016, the Board approved the following seven RFP review
committee members: Tourist Development Department Director, Research & Development
Manager, Convention Services Manager, Information Systems Department representative,
Tourist Development Council representative, VisitFlorida digital strategy executive, and a
website expert from Northwest Florida State College or University of West Florida.
At its March 24 meeting, the TDC appointed Bruce Craul as its representative. VisitFlorida,
Northwest Florida State College, and University of West Florida are unable to provide
assistance. Staff respectfully requests removal of the VisitFlorida digital strategy executive and
website expert from Northwest Florida State College/University of West Florida from the review
committee, leaving a total of five review committee members.
The Purchasing Department will coordinate the process and serve as a facilitator for meetings of
the review committee.
OPTIONS: Approve or Disapprove
RECOMMENDATION: Remove two members of the review committee for RFP TDD 36-16
Tourism Website Hosting & Maintenance Service: VisitFlorida digital strategy executive and
Northwest Florida State College/University of West Florida website expert.
