Public Content The School Board of Okaloosa County is appointing a Citizen’s Oversight Committee (“Committee”) for 2025, with input from the Chambers of Commerce in Okaloosa County to review the expenditure of the proceeds of the Half-Cent Capital Outlay Sales Surtax approved by voters in the general election held on November 3, 2020. The Committee shall make certain that the proceeds of the Sales Surtax are being used in accordance with School Board Resolution 20-01, dated March 30, 2020, and will make quarterly reports to the School Board and the public regarding the use of the proceeds of the Tax and the status of all projects financed by sales tax proceeds.
