The savings shown for the Specialist position is based on the current employee who is retiring. The Specialist position is funded 80% Discretionary (General Fund) and 20% Title IX (Federal Fund); therefore, the attached spreadsheet only shows 80% as this is the impact to the General Fund. The Curriculum Department is requesting to add a Director in charge of Elementary Education. There is an estimated annual savings of $3,083.00.
