Public Content Silver Sands School is requesting the approval of a Self-Help Project to Resurface/Upgrade the track facility. This upgrade would provide an improved area for our students and the Okaloosa County Special Olympics. The funding is being provided through a combination of Board Member Capital Outlay allocations, Silver Sands School internal funds and a donation from All Sports Organization. All Sports Organization donation of $10,000.00 upon Board approval. Mr. Dewey Destin $15,000.00 upon Board approval. Mr. Tim Bryant $5,000.00 upon Board approval. Silver Sands internal account $13,525.00. Attached is the quote for the Self-Help Project from James David Site Prep and Underground, which is based on the School District's Asphalt and Paving Bid ITB 18-12, with a discount of $12,400.00.
