Board Members' Announcements/Request for Information Subject : 14.4 Revision of the Regular School Board Meeting Schedule for 2013, presented by Rodney Walker Meeting : Jul 8, 2013 - Regular Meeting Type : Action Recommended Action : Motion to change the time of the Board's second regularly scheduled meeting of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the remainder of the 2013 organizational year. Public Content It is recommended that the beginning time of the Board's second regularly scheduled meeting of each month be changed from 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the remainder of the organizational year. This recommendation is made to accommodate the need for additional meeting time without scheduling an additional workshop when there are a large number of items on the agenda. This meeting will be held in the School District Administration Building, Fort Walton Beach. Motion & Voting Amended motion that the beginning time of the Board's second regularly scheduled meeting of the month remain at 6:00 p.m., and the Chairman will have the discretion to schedule a workshop at 4:00 p.m. on that date if the Chairman deems it necessary after review of the agenda, for the remainder of the 2013 organizational year.
