13 WHEREAS, Okaloosa County owns and operates the Destin-Fort Walton
14 Beach Airport which serves the Okaloosa County regional area; and

16 WHEREAS, Okaloosa County in conjunction with FDOT is working on a
17 Project number ARQ65, 42230339401, currently titled “Construct Approximately
18 5,500 SF of Additional Hold-room and Gate Area with One Passenger Loading
19 Bridge at New Gate No. B4 at Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport”; and
20
21 WHEREAS, FDOT and the County now desire to change the name of the
22 Project to “Fuel Farm Expansion at Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport” and revise
23 the project description and justification accordingly.

25 NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of County
26 Commissioners of Okaloosa County as follows:

28 1. The Board of County Commissioners approves the name change of FDOT
29 Project number ARQ65, 42230339401, from “Construct Approximately
30 5,500 SF of Additional Hold-room and Gate Area with One Passenger
31 Loading Bridge at New Gate No. B4 at Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport”
32 to “Fuel Farm Expansion at Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport”.

34 2. The Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners is hereby authorizes
35 staff to coordinate a supplemental Joint Participation Agreement with the
36 FDOT and provide the Agreement to the Okaloosa County Board of County
37 Commissioners for approval and signature that will revise the project
38 description and justification.

40 3. This Resolution is effective upon adoption and execution.
