C@RIZON
In the 501 to 700 Matrix, Dr. Delgado’s hours have increased from 16 hours per week to 20 hours per
week. Corizon constantly reviews and evaluates the need for change to meet the needs of the OCDOC;
regularly reassessing the dynamics of the health industry and its impact to corrections. This contract
period we have increased provider hours, allowing Dr. Delgado to be in the facility three times per week
adding an extra day of coverage while reducing the overall cost to the County. Increased coverage will
also allow us to enhance our focus on patient wellness and prevention of illness. As you can see, our
plan is two-fold in that we are not only able to increase provider coverage, but we anticipate reduced
off-site Emergency Room trips resulting in even more savings to Okaloosa County. Again, Jackie
McMillian, RN will be available for consultation by LPN staff.
