BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: July 21, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Elliot Kampert SUBJECT: Request to Revise Task Order #60 to Okaloosa County Transit DEPARTMENT: Growth Management BCC DISTRICT: All STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Department of Growth Management requests that the Board approve the attached revision to Task Order with Okaloosa County Transit (OCT) to reduce the total amount allocated to OCT. BACKGROUND: The FDOT Transit Block Grant Task Order #60 was signed by the Board on August 22nd, 2014 which allocated the approved Transportation Disadvantaged Grant total amount of $440,269 to OCT. Growth Management seeks to reduce this amount from $440,269 to $415,269. This reduction of $25,000 will be used by Growth Management (Transit) for operating expenses incurred by the Department which includes office supplies, legal advertising and other operating costs, including temporary staffing to assist during the transition period. No local funds are required for this request. OPTIONS: Approve or disapprove Revision 1 to Task Order #60 reducing the total amount allocated to OCT by $25,000 to $415,269. RECOMMENDATIONS: The Department recommends that the Board authorize the Chairman to sign the attached Task Order 60 Revision #1 reducing the original Task Order by $25,000 from $440,269 to $415,269.
