STATEMENT OF ISSUE: To review the final plat for Hattie’s Grove Phase II, a proposed 3-
lot, single-family detached residential subdivision as submitted by Shannon D. Clatchey with
Rare Earth Surveying and Mapping, Inc. on behalf of the property owner, Okaloosa Walton
Development Company. The property is currently zoned Residential 2 (R 2) and the Future
Land Use Map (FLUM) designation is Medium Density Residential (MDR). The property is
located at the southwest corner of Bullock Boulevard and Hattie Mae Lane, Niceville. Property
contains 0.62 acres more or less.
BACKGROUND: The Development Order (DO) for Hattie’s Grove Phase II was issued on
January 29, 2015; all approvals are on file. The proposed final plat is consistent with the
Okaloosa County Comprehensive Plan and Land development Code. Staff has no objection to
the approval of the final plat as submitted.
OPTIONS: The Board may approve the final plat for recording, or may withhold approval.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends that the Board approve the final plat for Hattie’s
Grove Phase II subdivision.
