BACKGROUND: This amendment de-obligates $15,098.40 from the contract that reimbursed the Airport for a portion of its LEO expenses. The contract was to assist the Airport in meeting its responsibilities with respect to security and law enforcement response time at the passenger screening area. The contract was originally funded for three years in 2005. Subsequent annual amendments funded the program through FY 2012 for a total of $882,262.42. This de- obligation reduces the amount to $867,164.00 and closes out the grant. The Airport still receives reduced support from the Transportation Security Administration to assist in this Federal requirement. The current grant is for fiscal years 2013 through 2015. The funding for FY 2015 has not been established as the government is operating under a Continuing Resolution Authority (CRA) pending enactment of appropriations.
