DEPARTMENT: Water and Sewer BCC DISTRICT: All STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Okaloosa County Water & Sewer (OCWS) staff requests BCC approval for final payment in the amount of $15,590.29 to Severn Trent Environmental Services, Inc. on contract #C09-1767-WS. BACKGROUND: Via the County's formal bidding process, OCWS entered into a contract with Severn Trent Environmental Services, Inc. in 2009 for the printing, sorting and mailing of our utility bills. All work under the terms of this contract has been completed. Now that all work has been completed and deemed sufficient, final payment is due on the contract. The final payment has been through the contract close-out process. The Contract Close-Out Checklist is attached for your review, along with the Contract/Lease Payment Form and the invoice itself. Moving forward, OCWS' bill printing contract is now with Pinnacle Data Systems LLC (contract #C14-2188-WS). This contract also went through the formal bidding process. Pinnacle was the lowest qualified bidder meeting specifications, and the BCC approved the bid award and contract, in May 2014 and June 2014, respectively. OPTIONS: Approve or deny. RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends BCC approval for final payment in the amount of $15,590.29 to Severn Trent Environmental Services, Inc. on contract #C09-1767-WS.
