recognize Okaloosa STEMM Academy for their national recognition for being a Blue Ribbon School.
Information about the National Blue Ribbon Schools Program:
The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Education, is a prestigious recognition that
celebrates schools for their exceptional commitment to academic excellence. STEMM is one of only 13 schools in Florida and one of 353
schools in the nation. This achievement is a testament to the unwavering dedication of our students, educators, families, and the broader
community in creating an environment where students are intellectually curious, critical thinkers, and creative problem solvers. Students
are thriving at STEMM.
This recognition not only highlights the hard work and dedication of our students but also acknowledges the outstanding efforts put forth
by our incredible teachers and staff. It is a reflection of the strong partnerships we have formed with parents and the support we receive
from our community stakeholders. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has played a part in this success.

3. Recognitions
Subject : 3.2 Recognition of Fort Walton Beach
High School's JROTC program on
being the recipient of a $5,000
donation from Forever Warriors,
presented by Tiffany Orner, Forever
Warriors.
Meeting : Dec 11, 2023 - Regular Meeting
Type : Recognition
Public Content
Fort Walton Beach High School will be presented a $5,000 check from Forever Warriors.
FW was invited by United Fidelity Bank (UFB) to support the FWBHS JROTC for their Military Appreciation Football Game. While
meeting with UFB and the JROTC Leadership I asked the JROTC Leadership if there were any issues or needs for the JROTC
Students. They shared with me the need for funding since DOD pulled funding for JROTC Fieldtrips this school year. I asked the size of
that financial loss and they said something between $4,000 - $5,000.
Forever Warriors goal is not to change the game, but rather to equip you with the tools necessary to succeed. We aim to
augment existing military community programs by highlighting them and even bringing awareness to the public about any gaps in
resources. Our ever-growing list of vetted, top-notch resources provides a safe haven and a unique experience for military
members, veterans, and their families alike.
At Forever Warriors, community is paramount, and no one should ever feel alone. We recognize the stigma surrounding seeking
help and are committed to breaking down any barriers that may exist. No topic is off-limits for us, and we share our knowledge
and experience because we genuinely care.
