and Creek Enterprises, Inc. for telecommunications maintenance for the fiber optic network.

BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On November 3, 2015 two (2) bids were presented to the
Board and staff requested approval to award contracts for telecommunications maintenance of
the fiber optic network to World Fiber Technologies, Inc. and Creek Enterprise, Inc. The request
for bids stated that two vendors could be selected. This was a unit price bid so no overall bid
amount is provided. Staff has prepared the contracts and they are ready for approval. The
contracts have a term of two (2) years with three (3) one (1) year renewals. Staff requests Board
approval of the contracts with World Fiber Technologies, Inc. and Creek Enterprises, Inc. and
authorization for the Chairman to sign the documents.
OPTIONS: Approve/Deny contracts with World Fiber Technologies, Inc. and Creek
Enterprises, Inc. for telecommunications maintenance for the fiber optic network, and
authorization for Chairman to sign the contracts.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval to award the bids to World Fiber
Technologies, Inc. and Creek Enterprises, Inc. for telecommunications maintenance for the fiber
optic network, and authorization for Chairman to sign the contracts.
