WATREE CONSTRUCTION £,/ and Land Developing, LL.C 935 Ashley Drive Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547 (850)314-0828 watreeconstructionf@yahoo.com October 22, 2015 RE: Vacated Portion of Right-of-Way adjacent to 99 3™ Ave, Shalimar To: Commissioner Ketchel; Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners Dear Commissioner Ketchel, We, Watree construction and Land Developing, LLC, on behalf of the current owner of the above named property, Foley Holdings of NWL LTD, petition the Board to consider amending Resolution No. 6G-200, as recorded in Public Records Book 1280 Page 1048, to remove stipulation #4 disallowing the vacated portion to be further subdivided. Our company is under contract with the current property owner to purchase lots 1,2, and 3 BLK 31 of Port Dixie along with the vacated portion of the right-of-way adjacent to Lot 1. As the three lots are currently platted they are 30’ in width and 150° in depth which does not lend itself to very desirable dwellings to be built upon them. It is our intent to apply for a re-description, or Lot Split, to have the new lots front the 9" St cul-de-sac with new dimensions of a 50’ width and 110’ depth respectively to include the 20’ vacated portion in the 110 depths. The 20’ vacated portion would not be used to build upon but merely used as a setback for the front of the new dwellings. This proposal would not increase density over the original plat but would only allow for a more desirable use of the available property in building three new dwellings.
