AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION NO. 15 — WHEREAS, as authorized under Chapter 341.051(5) Florida Statutes, the Florida Department of Transportation, hereinafter referred to as the Department, has entered into a Joint Participation Agreement, Contract No. ARN14, with the Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners to provide Urban Corridor operating assistance to Okaloosa County, hereinafter referred to as the Agency, and WHEREAS, the DEPARTMENT has prepared a Supplemental Joint Participation Agreement #1 to Contract ARN14, and agrees to a maximum participation, including contingencies, in the project amount of $210,000 and WHEREAS, the AGENCY has the authority to enter into the Joint Participation Agreement ARN14 and Supplemental Joint Participation Agreement #1 to Contract ARN14, and to undertake the project. The Agency further agrees to the conditions upon which assistance will be provided and the understanding as to the matter in which the project will be undertaken, as outlined in the Joint Participation Agreement. Now, Therefore, the AGENCY authorizes the Chairman to execute the Supplemental Joint Participation Agreement #1 to Contract ARN14, DULY PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session this 1% day of December, 2015.
