A RESOLUTION OF THE OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE THE
SUPPLEMENTAL JOINT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT NUMBER 1 WITH THE
FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRASPORTATION FOR THE OPERATION OF
ALTERNATIVE COMMUTER TRANSPORTATION IN OKALOOSA COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Transportation, hereinafter referred to as the
DEPARTMENT has prepared a Supplemental Joint Participation Agreement Number 1 to provide funding
for the operation of alternative Commuter transportation to the Okaloosa County Board of County
Commissioners, hereinafter referred to as the Agency; and
WHEREAS, the DEPARTMENT has been authorized under Chapter 341.041(10), Florida Statues,
to enter into the Supplemental Joint Participation Agreement Number 1 and agrees to a Department
participation of $10,000; and
WHEREAS, the AGENCY has the authority to enter into the Supplemental Joint Participation
Agreement Number 1 and to undertake the project. The AGENCY further agrees to the conditions upon
which assistance will be provided and the understanding as to the manner in which the project will be
undertaken, as outlined in the Joint Participation Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, the AGENCY authorizes the Chairman to execute the Supplemental Joint
Participation Agreement Number 1
DULY PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session this 15th day of September 2015.
