ORDINANCE NO. 46b AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH TO ANNEX A TRACT OF LAND TO SAID CITY UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 171. 043 FLORIDA STATUTES 3 AND PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF SAID ORDINANCE. WHEREAS 3 the City Council of the City of Fort Walton Beach3 Florida3 has determined that annexation of certain property will contribute to the general welfare of the said city and will be in the public interest and provide additional area for the rapid growth and expansion of said city. THEREFORE 3 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NOW3 FORT WALTON BEACH3 FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That under the provisions of Section 171. 94 Florida Statutes3 it is the intention of the City of Fort Walton Beach to annex a tract of land to said city at the expiration of from the first publication of this Ordinance after thirty ( 30) days its approval by the Counci13 and said tract being the following described property: A subdivision of a portion of SectiDn 253 Township 1 South, Range 24 West3 Okaloosa County, Florida3 described as follows: The South 350 feet of Section 25, Township 1 South3 Range 24 West lying West of Mooney Road3 Okaloosa County, Florida. to the above annexation may be made SECTION 2.
