NA RESOLUTION NO. 69-34 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH TO EXECUTE THE ATTACHED LEASE WITH JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT OF FT. WALTON BEACH, INC., PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLOIRDA: SECTION 1. The City Manager on behalf of the City of Fort Walton Beach is hereby authorized to executed the attached lease with Junior Achievement of Fort Walton Beach, Inc. SECTION 2. A copy of the said lease is attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof. SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective upon the passage and approval of the Mayor. ADOPTED: Lyat 2b. WALTON, INC., a non-profit corporation, hereinafter referred to as the lessee, and the parties in consideration of the mutual covenants of the other, hereby agree: 1. The lessor leases to the lessee for a period of ten years the following described property in Okaloosa County, Florida: Commence at the Northwest corner of the Southeast quarter of Section 14, Township 2 South, Range 24 West and run South 25 feet, run thence East 175 feet to the point of beginning, run thence South 150 feet, run thence East 150 feet, run thence North 150 feet, run thence West 150 feet to the point of beginning. 2. The lessee shall have an option to renew for an additional five years. | 3. The lessee shall pay to the lessor as and for rent the, sum of $1.00 per year which shall be due and payable upon the execution of this lease and the same day of each year thereafter during the term or any extension thereof. 4, The property shall be used solely by the lessee and for. non-profit purposes only. 5. The lessor agrees that the lessee may mortgage the above described premises; that in the event of a default under the said mortgage by the lessee, the lessor shall have the right to pay off such mortgage indebtedness and terminate this lease and to take - possession of the property together with any improvements. thereon. 6.
