litigation has ` involved real estate development and /or business loans, one of which 1 was informed involved money from a loan that was used for Ft. Walton Beach Development Partners which was the entity that was developing the Landmark Center project in downtown Fort Walton. Given the overall litigation referenced herein my vote could foreseeably directly benefit my office which is a family owned business together with my clients. It is therefore necessary that I abstain from the vote on the Landmark Center. TO THE MAYOR, CITY MANAGER AND MY FELLOW COUNCIL MEMEBERS.
