AN ORDINANCE DELETING CHAPTER 17A, CODE OF ORDINANCES,
CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, (PRIVATE DETECTIVES:
PATROL AND GUARD SERVICES) IN ITS ENTIRETY, PROVIDING
THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
WHEREAS, THE REGULATING OF PRIVATE DETECTIVES: PATOL AND GUARD
SERVICES IS ESTABLISHED BY STATE STATUTE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION |. That Chapter 17A, Code of Ordinances, City of Fort
Walton Beach, Florida, (Private Detectives: Patrol and Guard Services), is
hereby deleted in its entirety.
SECTION II. This ordinances shall take effect immediately upon
approval by Council and signature by the Mayor.
