Service (RFQ 53-14)

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: [PUR] Seeking approval to reject proposal for Aircraft Repair and
Maintenance Service for Northwest Florida Regional Airport (MWFRA) and authorization to re-
advertise.
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On June 20, 2014, the proposal for the Aircraft Repair and
Maintenance Services closed. One proposal was received from Emerald Coast Aviation. After
the Airport staff further considered the needs of the Airport, it was decided that the scope of
work should be changed and the RFQ should be re-advertised. Emerald Coast Aviation will be
encouraged to re-submit a proposal.
OPTIONS: Approve/Deny request to reject proposal by Emerald Coast Aviation and Re-
Advertise for Aircraft Repair and Maintenance Service with a modified scope of work.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the Board approve the rejection of the proposal by
Emerald Coast Aviation and Re-Advertise for Aircraft Repair and Maintenance Service with a
modified scope of work.
