RESOLUTION NO. 2009- 1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR OCTOBER 1, 2008 THROUGH
SEPTEMBER 30, 2009 BUDGET TO MAKE CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO
APPROPRIATIONS OF CITY FUNDS TO PAY FOR CODIFICATION OF THE
LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. Authority
Resolution 2008- 45, adopted on September 22, 2008, authorizes amendments to
the FY 2008- 09 budget by resolution.
Section 2. General Fund Budget Amendment
The City has updated the Land Development Code, which needs to be codified by
the Municipal Code Corporation. Therefore, there is appropriated $ 10, 000 from
undesignated fund balance increasing the General Fund budget from $ 19, 305, 166 to
19, 315,166.
Section 3. Effective Date
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval by the City Council
and signature by the Mayor.
