SUBJECT: Technical Innovation Audiovisual Maintenance Invoice
DEPARTMENT: Public Safety

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval to direct pay the Technical Innovation invoice in
the amount of $25,900.00 for technical support and maintenance of the EOC audiovisual
equipment.
BACKGROUND: The service agreement is for the period of July 1, 2014, through June 30,
2015. The EOC is utilized for emergency response support efforts during disaster and for
providing training to first responders and other agencies. To support this effort, the EOC is
equipped with a state of the art audiovisual system. The system requires regular maintenance
and service to maintain operational status. Technical Innovation is the vendor that installed and
maintains the system. The agreement includes service, parts, and labor for issues that impact the
audiovisual system.
OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Recommend direct payment of the Technical Innovation invoice for
EOC audiovisual technical support service.
