A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF M. T. REED CONSTRUC~
. ‘TION COMPANY OF JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI AS THE LOWEST
AND BEST BID ON CONSTRUCTION AND ERECTION OF SEWAGE
DISPOSAL PLANT IN THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, UPON RECOMMENDATION OF CITY ENGINEER.
WHEREAS, the City has advertised for bids for the construction and
erection of a sewage disposal plant, and |
WHEREAS, two bids were received, and opened at 10:30 asm. on this
date, and same have been considered, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has computed same and advised the Council
that the lowest and best bid received was the bid of M. T. Reed Construction
Company of Jackson, Mississippi, in the amount of $228,910.00 less aternates
2, 3, h, and 5, making a total bid of $207,501.00, and .
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has advised the City Council that M. T.
Reed Construction Company is a qualified contractor,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Fort Walton Beach, Florida, that th bid of M. T. Reed Construction 7
Company be awarded to said company at a cost of $228,910.00 less adternates :
2, 3, hy and S,or a total bid of $207,501.00.
