Chris Gibson, 249 Brooks Street stated she is a business owner in the crime- ridden area, that the crime
was nothing new and has been going on for years.
Mr. Tucker stated there should be at least four more police officers in the CRA area. The City Manager
stated staff is working on the issue of the nuisance house to eradicate the problem. She noted moving
more police officers into the CRA budget is only switching the funds from one account to another because
theyare not going to increase the sworn force to work in the CRA area. She mentioned she is prepared to
speak with Council individually on the status of the Declaration of Nuisance Abatement.
