RESOLUTION NO. 73-37
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING HOUSING FOR PERSONS
OF LOW AND MODERATE INCOME, PLEDGING SUP-
PORT AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
WHEREAS, the Fort Walton Beach Redevelopment Agency
has applied to the Florida Department of Community Affairs
for a loan from the Department to assist in acquiring land,
planning, designing, and constructing building sites for
housing for persons of low or moderate income; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Community Affairs desires
evidence of local government support of the endeavor in form
of a resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council
of the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida:
SECTION 1. The City of Fort Walton Beach continues
to support the construction of housing for persons of low or
moderate income.
SECTION 2. The Redevelopment Agency may call upon
any branch of City government for information and advice to
insure efficiency in carrying out the project.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
