ORDINANCE NO. DY Y
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO
THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON
BEACH, PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That under the provisions of Section 171.04
of the Florida Statutes, the City of Fort Walton Beach hereby
annexes the following tract of land to the City of Fort Walton
Beach:
Commencing at the NW corner of Sec. 16, TWP 2S, Rge 24 W,
thence go East along the North Section line of Sec. 16
for a distance of 2677.30 feet to the POB. Thence continue
along said sec line for a distance of 669.33 feet, thence
delta angle rt 90°06'11" for a distance of 440.0 feet,
thence delta angle rt 89°53'49" for a distance of 110.0
feet, thence delta angle rt 90°06'11" for a distance of
40.0 feet, thence delta angle left 90°00" for a distance
of 66.0 ft, thence delta angle rt 90°00" for a distance of
34.0 feet, thence delta angle left 90°06'11" for a distance
of 317.55 feet. Thence delta angle left 89°53'1" for a
distance of 55 feet. Thence delta angle rt 90°00" for a
distance of 66.0 feet, thence delta angle rt 90° for a
distance of 30 feet, thence delta angle left 90°08'15" for
a distance of 110.0 feet, thence delta angle rt 90°08'15"
for a distance of 391.0 feet to the POB. All lying and
being in the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 Sec. 16,
TWP 2S, Ree 24 W, Okaloosa County, Florida.
SECTION 2. The City Limits of the City of Fort Walton
Beach shall be hereafter defined to include the aforesaid property.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
