[373-77 | Cont hy wok ORDINANCE 6947. / AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION TO ANNEX CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION I. Under the provisions of Section 171.044 of the Florida Statutes, the City of Fort Walton Beach hereby annexes the following tract of land to the City of Fort Walton Beach which previously had been annexed with an incorrect legal description: Commencing at concrete monument marking the NW corner of Lot 5, Section 36, Twp 1 South, Range 24 West, Okaloosa County; proceed East 600.2', a South 889.2' to SW corner of Treepoint Subdivision oe and the POB; thence East 230' along Treepoint Sub- division; thence South 231.2' to Mooney Road; thence westerly along Mooney Road to a point 80' East of the SE corner of Kenwood First Addition; thence North 170'; thence West 75'; thence North 70.7' to the POB, all lying and being in Section 36, Township 1 South, Range 24 West, Okaloosa County, Florida. SECTION II. The City limits of the City of Fort Walton Beach shall be hereafter defined to include the aforesaid property. SECTION III. This Ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
