AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23- 12. 5 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES, CITYOF FORT WALTON BEACH, TO AMEND SETBACK
REQUIREMENTS ON SIDE LOT LINES, PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE
DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION I. - That the introduction to Section 23- 12. 5 be
deleted and amended to read as follows:
That all building located in the area designated in
Section 23- 12. 3 are subject to the following definitions
and setback requirements:
SECTION II - That Section 23- 12. 5( 2)( a) be deleted and
amended to read as follows:
a) Side yard - Twenty ( 20') feet. The full twenty
20') feet width must provide driving surface a
capable of supporting fire apparatus and having
a minimum vertical clearance of thirteen ( 13' 6")
feet, six inches.
SECTION III.- This Ordinance shall take effect ten ( 10) days
after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
