(This unit is located in a building owned by Water & Sewer (WS), abutting the west side of the rear parking lot of the WS Administration Building.) BACKGROUND & ANAYSIS: Lease #L07-0284-WS with Allwood Furniture is scheduled to terminate on September 30, 2016. However, the lease language allows for an additional year renewal and the tenant has expressed a desire to continue to occupy the space. Annual rent for this unit is $10,800. Staff requests Board authorization for the Chairman to sign the lease renewal form. OPTIONS: Approve/deny the request to renew the lease with Allwood Furniture, effective October 1, 2016 and terminating on September 30, 2017. (L07-0282-WS) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the request to renew the lease with Allwood Furniture, effective October 1, 2016 and terminating on September 30, 2017.
