Re: Okaloosa Coalition on the Homeless
Dear Mr. Keeler:
In 1986 the
Okaloosa Coalition on the Homeless was approved for
the receipt of $ 60, 000 in CDBG monies from the city of Fort
Walton Beach. $ 40, 000 was designated for purchase of a property
and $ 20, 000 was designated for renovation of the property which
would be used as a shelter to house homeless families for a
transitional period.
The Okaloosa Coalition on the Homeless is
unanimous in their
choice of the property at 7 Bob- o- linkbeing the best suited
property available in the designated zoning areas and within our
budget limitations.
Thank you for your support and approval of our request to pur-
chase and renovate this property.
Sincerely yours,
Linda Barts, President
