RESOLUTION NO. 58-22
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO REFUND
TWO WATER TAPPING FEES IN THE AMOUNT OF $30.00 EACH,
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fort Walton Beach passed
Ordinance 25) on November 5, 1957, on first and final reading, and said
ordinance increased basic water tapping fees from $10.00 to $0,00, and
WHEREAS, the City Council passed Ordinance 256, on November 19, 1957, on
first and final reading, and said ordinance repealed Ordinance 25h, and
WHEREAS, during the interim two water customers did pay the increased water
tapping fee, paying $0.00 rather than the established fee of #10,00, and
WHEREAS, the payment by these two customers is unwarranted,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to refund to Mr. H. 5S. Parker
and to Mr. A. C. McKinnie a total of $30.00 each of the water tapping fees
paid to the City of Fort Walton Beach between November 5, 1957 and
November 19, 1957.
SECTION 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and
approval by the Mayor.
