RESOLUTION NO. 63-6 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY FINANCE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A "RETAIL INSTALLMENT CONTRACT WITH WARREN TAYLOR FORD COMPANY, A FLORIDA CORPORATION, FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN AUTOMOBILE FOR THE SUM OF $2,718.71; PAYABLE IN TWENTY-FOUR MONTHLY INSTALLMENTS OF $128.59, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. WHEREAS, the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, has duly authorized and advertised for bids for certain equipment as setforth hereinafter, and WHEREAS, the bid most acceptable to the City after receipt of same was from Warren Taylor Ford Company of Fort Walton Beach, and WHEREAS, the actual bid of Warren Taylor Ford Company was accepted by the City in the amount of $2,718.71, and WHEREAS, Warren Taylor Ford Company has agreed to sell the equipment setforth hereinafter for the sum of $2,718.71 plus finance charges with deferred payments of $128.59 for the period of twenty-four months, and WHEREAS, said obligation is to be in the form of a retail installment contract, now therefore BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA SECTION 1. That the City Manager and City Finance Director as duly authorized representatives of the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, are hereby authorized and directed to execute a retail installment contract to Warren Taylor Ford Company, Fort Walton Beach on the following described property. 1 1963 Ford Model F 602 Serial No. F61 CH-371610 SECTION 2. The City Manager and the City Finance Director are hereby directed to execute the said retail installment contract on behalf of the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, in the prin- cipal amount of $2,718.71 plus financing charges, payable in twenty-four monthly installments of $128.59. Said first payment commencing on February 22, 1963. SECTION 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
