System is comprised of Community full -range horn loaded outdoor speakers mounted to a large concrete light pole centrally located in the aquatics facilitys pool deck area. The location of the speaker system allows for multi -directional sound reinforcement to the competition dive pool and the competition lane pool. The aquatics center is located on property adjoining the FSU golf course so there was concern on everyone' s behalf about the spill -over of audio into the golf course. Both facilities are open seven days a week. To achieve this goal the system was designed with a six speaker down fill ring that is individually powered and processed in two zones, one for the dive pool and one for the lap pool. During non -event times the down fill speaker ring plays low level back ground music and provides minimal spillover into the golf course. During events, the pool deck is full of tent canopies, grandstands are brought in, and there are a lot of people. The system then provides full range sound and speech reinforcement to the area where the event Is being staged. if it is a dive meet, down fill and long throw portion of the system that services the dive pool is activated and full coverage is provided to the entire area. If the event is in the lap pool then the lap pool system is activated which utilizes that portion of the down fill ring and two long throw devices which provide coverage to the far side and ends of the lap pool. If it is a dual event then the system is fully activated, with dive pool inputs going only to the dive pool portion of the system, and lap pool inputs going only to the lap pool. There are multiple inputs, each is routable to the area it needs to be reinforced to through a custom graphical user interface. System preset scenes are provided for recall of system setup for specific events. Florida State University Mike Long Track Full range music and speech reinforcement for the Mike Long Track facility. System is comprised of two sets of Danley Sound Labs full range outdoor fully horn loaded speakers attached to two large concrete light poles. The speaker system provides coverage to the entire track area for paging and music playback. System operates as one large zone and covers the area of approximately six football fields. The system is full range and sounds quite good at over 400' for music and announcer a reinforcement. The system is augmented with twelve Peavey 12" 2 way full range speakers which are mounted to the roof of the covered grandstand area which provides time aligned additional coverage into the area beneath the roof. Additionally there are speakers in all the bathrooms and some ancillary areas. Florida A &M University Al Lawson Center Basketball Arena Sound reinforcement system is comprised of a large tri- amplified 1BL center cluster (exploded cluster) augmented by a bi- amplified twenty speaker 1BL delay ring. System processing is a 16x96 QSC DSP system which controls all speaker components individually and provides system wide presets for various venue functions. Speakers and sub systems are located throughout the facility which can either function as individual sub systems or tie -lined to the main system. The Al Lawson Center functions as a multi- function space which accommodates a wide variety of events. Alternate Proposal 1 One approach will be to design a speaker system that is much higher performance and will provide directional zoning. This will allow the system to be a background and foreground system, to have some control over where it is going and how much of the system needs to get used. it will also lend itself to be a supplemental system to the main stage system for musical events, and stand -alone vocal and music reinforcement for specific events. One such system we designed a few years back was the system for the FSU Aquatics Center. This system uses six Community full range horn loaded coaxial speakers arranged in a circle to provide a down fill system for the pool deck. There is a second system installed right above the down fill system that provides longer throw coverage to the far ends of the facility. The long throw components can be turned on and off, as well as the down fill ring can be turned off in either direction. Both the long throw and down fill can provide different source material in two different directions. This functionality has worked well for this application. There are a lot of similarities to the needs at the Fort Walton Landing, which is why we would provide this alternate proposal. Placing two systems like this in the Landing Park area would provide good coverage to the entire facility. There is some concern with the trees being obstacles, but in reality, they are going to obstacles Music Masters Page 3 walsRS punog Bulpuel Olo-£ 6 d=IM PJemV : OZZZ) sJalselN3IsnW - 01.0-£ 1, d=iH : luawgoeAV v Nw o.
