ORDINANCE NO. 270 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 66, SAME BEING AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE FIRE LIMITS AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE CONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION, EQUIPMENT, OR REMOVAL OF BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, PROVIDING THAT THE REQUIREMENTS OF NATIONAL BUILDING CODE AS PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED SHALL APPLY HERETO, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF | BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, SECTION 1: That Section 3 of said Ordinance No. 66 is hereby amended to read ollows : The fire limits of the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, are hereby extended to include all areas zoned C#l lying within the corporate limits. SECTION 2: Ordinance 66 is hereby further amended to include a section following Section 1, to be known as Section lA, as follows: The exterior walls of any and all buildings erected in areas zoned Cal, within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, shall be of masonry construction. SECTION 3: That applicable sections of the National Building Code adopted by Ordinance No. 193 shall apply hereto. SECTION h: The areas referred to herein as Cel are more particularly described in Ordinance No. 100, as amended. SECTION 5: All Ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
