City of Fort Walton Beach Ameriea's Most Seautiful B Ovdinance __ +333 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, RELATING TO THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE; PROVIDING FOR AUTHORITY; PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF ARTICLE III. ZONING, DIVISION 1. GENERALLY, SECTION 20-301. DEFINITIONS, TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL DEFINITIONS FOR AN INDUSTRIAL LAUNDRY AND FOR A DRY CLEANING ESTABLISHMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. AUTHORITY. The authority for enactment of this ordinance is Section 166.021, Florida Statutes. SECTION II. ARTICLE III. Zoning, Division 1. Generally, Section 20-301. Definitions. Article III, Zoning, Division 1. Generally, Section 20-301. Definitions, is hereby amended to read as follows: . Dry cleaning establishment shall mean a personal service establishment whose principal business is to provide retail dry cleaning and laundering services to the general public and where the establishment does not exceed a gross floor area of 4,000 square feet. Laundry, industrial, shall mean _a_service business whose primary purpose is to render heavy cleaning and laundering services to other businesses. Typical services are linen services, diaper services and carpet and upholstery cleaning services. SECTION III. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval by the City Council and signature of the Mayor.
