A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT
AN APPLICATION AND TO BE THE AUTHORIZED CERTIFYING
REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH,
FLORIDA FOR CONSTUCTION OF RECREATION PAVILION AT
FAIRGROUNDS SUBMITTED BY THE CITY UNDER THE LOCAL
PUBLIC WORKS CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT AND INVESTMENT
PROGRAM, P.L. 94-369, SECTION 107, PROVIDING THE
EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION I. The City Manager, on behalf of the City of
Fort Walton Beach, Florida, is hereby authorized to submit an
application for construction of recreation pavilion at Fairgrounds
under the Local Public Works Capital Development and Investment
Program, P.L. 94-369, Section 107. The City Manager is further
authorized on behalf of the City to be the authorized certifying
representative of the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida to process
applications, receive grants and report progress on any projects
granted in the City.
SECTION II. This resolution being of an administrative
nature shall take full force and effect immediately upon its
passage and approval by the Mayor.
