BACKGROUND: Via the qualifications-based selection process (form of bidding out professional services), Okaloosa County Water & Sewer entered into a contract with CH2M HILL Engineers Inc. in 2005. This was a Master Services Agreement (MSA) in which individual task orders were issued on a project per project basis. Under this MSA, 20 task orders have been completed. Some of the bigger projects include assistance on the future water supply program, design of Eglin's Taxiway H water main, smoke testing gravity sewer on Okaloosa Island, and various wetland permitting. Of these 20 task orders, the final invoice has been sent and the payment is now due. This particular invoice, for $5,092.40, happens to be for Task Order 19 - Professional Engineering Services for Future Water Supply Planning and Assistance. This final invoice, along with other pertinent information, is attached for your review. Moving forward into the future, staff went through the qualifications-based selection process (Bid # WS40-13).
